Breaking changes

• edda now depends on httpx2 instead of httpx. send_event() raises httpx2.HTTPError instead of httpx.HTTPError.
• httpx2 verifies TLS certificates with the OS trust store instead of certifi. Slim container images that send events over HTTPS need CA certificates installed.
• The MCP integration requires mcp 2.x (mcp>=2.2.0).

Fixes

• Since cloudevents 2.0 (March 2026), a fresh install of edda failed at import edda with No module named 'cloudevents.exceptions'. This affected every version, including 0.16.0. edda now requires cloudevents<2.
• A fresh install of edda-framework[mcp] pulled in mcp 2.x, and the MCP integration failed to import.
• EddaMCPServer.asgi_app(): POST /cancel/{instance_id} returned 500 even though the workflow was cancelled.
• Viewer: cancelling a workflow now uses EDDA_APP_URL, like starting one does.
• edda.__version__ now reports the installed version. It was stuck at 0.1.0.
