ThreadTandem 1.2.0 adds the complete post synchronization workflow.

  • Import new Telegram channel posts as WordPress drafts and link them to existing articles. Linked WordPress articles remain the source of truth.
  • Review unmatched, linked and ignored publications; send articles through the background queue. Bulk archive sending requires a separate confirmation.
  • Include a featured image or the first post image in Telegram announcements, including direct local JPEG/PNG uploads. Update existing messages while keeping discussion links.
  • Bundle complete Russian and English interfaces, selected through WordPress site/profile language settings. Customize the article link text. Older language packs retain their translations and receive missing new strings from the bundled catalog.
  • Use page=threadtandem for settings and page=threadtandem-sync for synchronization. Previous URLs redirect while preserving list/search parameters.

Validation: GitHub Actions passed for main and v1.2.0; local integration tests passed on WordPress 7.1.3 / PHP 8.4 and WordPress 6.2 / PHP 8.0. Both installations passed 56 bilingual checks. Plugin Check and PHP 7.4+ compatibility checks passed. All 27 files from this Actions ZIP match the published SVN tag byte for byte.
