Ascension

bo1zt it's being renamed to Ascension. The repository has being renamed to idircarlos/ascension, the executable is now ascension.exe and the app has a new icon.

Everything the trainer stores for itself moved from %APPDATA%\bo1zt to %APPDATA%\ascension, and the config file was renamed to ascension.ini. Nothing is carried over from previous versions: config, logs, GSC scripts and Camo Manager data all start fresh in the new folder. To keep your settings, copy %APPDATA%\bo1zt\config\bo1zt.ini to %APPDATA%\ascension\config\ and rename it to ascension.ini. The rest of the files can be moved the same way from %APPDATA%\bo1zt.

Still early and under active development. Expect bugs and breaking changes between releases.

AppData storage

Everything the trainer creates for itself now lives under %APPDATA%\bo1zt instead of next to the executable or inside the game folder: config, logs, the injected DLL, GSC scripts and the Camo Manager data.

Settings are not carried over from previous versions, so you can copy paste bo1zt.ini to %APPDATA%\bo1zt\config\.

Still early and under active development. Expect bugs and breaking changes between releases.

Twitch Integration

Connect bo1zt to your own Twitch channel. Your chat shows up inside the game, keeping each viewer's name color, and raids are announced on screen.

GSC Mods

Write and load your own GSC scripts, from a built-in editor with syntax highlighting.

Camo Manager

Build your own weapon camos out of .iwi textures, group them into bundles, preview them in a 3D viewer, and install them into the game easily.

Architecture

The trainer now runs an HTTP service inside the game process, with a client API on top. The GUI, the in-game chat commands and the CLI all go through it instead of touching game memory directly.

Still early and under active development. Expect bugs and breaking changes between releases.

bo1zt

This is the first public release of bo1zt, a Call of Duty: Black Ops 1 Zombies trainer written in C, created as a personal project to learn and experiment with reverse engineering concepts.

This Alpha release marks the foundation of the project. It introduces the core architecture, a custom graphical interface, and a unique bidirectional communication system between the tool and in-game GSC scripts, without relying on external mod tools. While many features are already implemented, the project is still under active development and may contain LOTS of bugs, incomplete functionality, or breaking changes. You can also experience crashes on both Tool and Game.

Key highlights of this initial release include:

  • Player stat manipulation (health, points, speed, rounds, kills, and more).
  • Classic trainer features such as God Mode, Infinite Ammo, No Clip, Instant Kill, and No Recoil.
  • Graphics and quality-of-life options like configurable FOV, FPS cap/unlock, borderless mode, HUD and fog control.
  • Floating Customizable Widgets
  • Bindings & Commands
  • Customizable game UI colors.
  • Script-level extensibility through GSC injection and runtime communication.

This release is intended for experimentation, learning, and feedback. It is not designed for malicious use, and its primary goal is to explore how these systems work internally while providing a highly customizable sandbox for Zombies gameplay.

Expect frequent changes as development continues. Feedback, issues, and contributions are always welcome!
