Language dropdown is a very simple module that exposes a new block, similar to the default Language Switcher block provided by the Locale module.
The new block allows site visitors to switch languages using a drop-down select list and choose different ways to see the selector.
This module requires no modules outside of Drupal core.
- Install Language dropdown module as you would normally install a contributed Drupal module.
1. Navigate to Administration > Extend and enable the module.
2. Navigate to Administration > Structure > Block layout and place a block.
3. Choose the Language DropDown Switcher block add the desired
configurations and save block.
4. Navigate to Administration > Configuration > Regional settings >
Languages and select the Detection and selection tab to define language
decisions.
5. Save settings.
