I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request.

The feature

When selecting multiple assets in the web UI and choosing Download, Immich always
packages them into a ZIP archive. I'd like an option to download them as
individual files instead.
Suggested implementation:

• A user setting under Account Settings → Download, e.g.
  "Download multiple assets as: [ZIP archive] / [Individual files]"
• Or a second menu entry next to Download: "Download as separate files"
  The individual-file mode could simply trigger the existing single-asset download
  for each selected asset (perhaps with a warning above N files, since browsers may
  ask permission for multiple downloads).

Use case

I often select just a few photos (e.g. 3 scanned receipts) to download and
attach somewhere else. Getting a ZIP means an extra extract step every time, and
on some devices/workflows handling ZIPs is awkward. For small selections,
separate files are much more convenient.
