My library's full of low-res junk — WhatsApp forwards, random screenshots, stuff that got downscaled somewhere along the way. Went to clean it out and realised there's no way to filter by resolution. You can filter on rating, favourite, camera, date and so on, but not "show me everything under X megapixels", so the only option is scrolling the whole timeline by eye.
Would love a megapixel filter in search — a min/max, or even just a "minimum quality" slider. Or a dedicated entry under Utilities like the large-files one, listing everything below a threshold so you can select and delete in one pass.
Had a dig through the code and it looks like a fairly small addition:
exifImageWidth/exifImageHeightare already stored onasset_exifand returned in the exif DTO, so nothing new needs extracting.ratingfilter built onNumberFilterNullableSchema, and a megapixel filter would be pretty much the same shape.LargeAssetSearchDtoalready does the "filter by a number → review → bulk delete" thing for large files. This is the same flow, just on resolution instead of size.I'd go with megapixels (width × height) rather than raw width or height, since what you actually care about is total pixels.
Happy to take a crack at the PR if that sounds reasonable.
