Uh oh!

I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request.
The feature
I share my library with my wife through partner sharing, and we use the archive feature very differently. She doesn’t use it at all, while I rely on it heavily to keep my timeline clean: anything that isn’t an actual photo (screenshots, documents, etc.) goes into my archive.
Because her photos appear in my timeline through partner sharing, all of her screenshots and documents end up there too. It has gotten to the point where I’m considering hiding her photos from my timeline altogether, but in my opinion that would defeat the purpose of partner sharing.
Proposed feature
Let me set the archive flag on my partner’s photos for my own view only. Those photos would then disappear from my timeline and show up in my archive, while staying unchanged in her library.
Related problem
The current implementation also makes the archive feature hard to use on both mobile and web right now. When I select several photos in the library and even one of them comes from partner sharing, the Archive button is disabled. That means I have to find and deselect her photos before I can archive my own.
