Merge Favorites & Likes

I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request.

The feature

I noticed that in my albums, I can only like an asset, but not add it as a favorite. I can easily see a listing of all my favorites, but not my likes. I have to view the asset in the timeline to add it as a favorite.

When albums are shared with me, I cannot add assets from them as favorites. And again, I cannot see a quick summary of what I liked.

I find it a bit confusing having 2 different ways of "liking" assets. Is there a way to merge these two?

These are two different things. Liking is in a shared album, and is only in the context of that album & shared with the others that are in it. Favouriting is everywhere & personal to you.

Well then I'm still asking for this to be changed. I would like to be able to see what I liked, and I'd like to be able to favorite something from within an album that I've created.
