You can do mod():func(), but I don't know if you wanna. I feel this pattern is even more absurd using a macro. But on the other hand, if you're not simply disabling non-atom as module name, you can also do

Macro = ?MACRO,
Macro:func(),

and

Mod = mod(),
Mod:func(),

the same way and it still feels odd.

Those are dynamic calls and we already have a rule that warns you if you use dynamic calls outside of callback-defining modules. OTOH, I'm not sure if that rule catches things like foo():bar(…). If it doesn't, it would be a good addition to it.
