Pagination

All query commands now have default result limits to prevent unbounded output that can overwhelm agent context windows.

Default limits: definition (3), symbols (100), references (50), dir_overview (none).

New global flags:

  • --limit N — override the default limit
  • --offset N — skip first N results (for paging forward)
  • --all — bypass the limit entirely

When results are truncated, a compact hint on stderr guides toward narrowing or paging:

cx: 3/32 definitions for "OnTypeModel" | --from PATH to narrow | --offset 3 for more | --all

JSON: paginated output uses {total, offset, limit, results: [...]} when truncated or offset > 0. Non-paginated output remains a bare array for backward compatibility.

Other improvements:

  • Definition results sorted by symbol priority (types before functions before methods)
  • Definition paginates before reading bodies from disk (avoids wasted I/O on large match sets)
  • Skill prompt trimmed from ~1000 to ~350 tokens

Closes #15
