v0.25.2 - 2026-10-11

v0.25.2 is a hardening release: malt refuses incorrect tap requests, reports failed runs as failures, and does not change a newer malt's database.

Correct tap commands. mt tap and mt untap refuse a mistyped tap or an incorrect flag set. Like brew, mt untap refuses a tap that installed packages use, unless you add --force.
Honest failures. mt install fails when memory runs out, instead of linking a formula without its dependencies. An interrupted mt purge reports "status":"error", mt tap reports an unreadable database, and mt doctor warns when it cannot audit the full prefix.
Safe downgrades. An older malt does not change a newer malt's database when it refuses it.
Fewer surprises. mt reinstall refuses the run if a named package is not installed. mt services <sub> --help shows help
