How to pull the github repository into Eclipse

First up, install the EGit plugin through Eclipse:

  • Go to Help -> Install new software...
  • Set "Work with:" to "-- All Available Sites --"
  • In the search box below that, enter "egit" and wait a moment for it to do the search
  • Select "Eclipse EGit" And "Next"/"Finish" your way through to install it.
  • Restart Eclipse (may not be required, but with Eclipse, it's never a bad idea)

Now then, highlight this git URL and copy it to the clipboard: https://github.com/androidpttadvisor/androidpttadvisor.git

Switch to Git view by going to Window -> Open Perspective -> Other... and then "Git Repository Exploring". You should now be looking at something like this:
