v3.6.0
[3.6.0]
This version adds support for public accounts and authentication without password.
It also allows users to register files not associated with a single session.
Added
- CITATION file for information on how to cite this repository
Modified
- RegistrationClient now allows registration of datasets outside of an ALF session path
- add_uuid_string and ALFPath.with_uuid accept a strict flag to raise instead of replacing a different UUID
- OpenAlyx._download_aws now explicitly removes the UUID from the destination path when keep_uuid is False
- AlyxClient paginated responses now handle changes to remote pagination (results in memory are resized when remote count changes)
- AlyxClient.authenticate accepts an API token in place of a password, for accounts that sign in
through an identity provider and so have none; ONE and AlyxClient take atokenkeyword, and the
password prompt offers a token when left blank - the default ALYX_LOGIN is now blank rather than the shared
intbrainlabaccount: public users
now register their own account on Open Alyx
Fixed
- one.converters.ses2records now supports base sessions with null number
- the ONE-API-Version header is now sent on every request; authenticate rebuilt the header dict
and dropped it, so only a client that authenticated through the constructor ever sent it - ONE rejects an unrecognised
modebefore building a client - http_download_file creates its target directory instead of failing with FileNotFoundError
- AlyxClient now handles basic HTTP error strings returned by Alyx
- PureALFPath.with_subject, with_date, with_sequence and with_collection no longer raise a
TypeError on Python 3.14 due to a misplaced parenthesis passing count=1 to the path constructor - PureALFPath.with_extension validates the extension instead of relying on PurePath.with_suffix, which no longer rejects a lone period on Python 3.14
- util.filter_datasets now handles end of string assertions in Python 3.14, restoring the behaviour of the ONE load methods
