Grantee reporting expectations, format and frequency for a 9-month engagement? #4
|
Hi team, I submitted a proposal for the 2026 SDK Grant Program covering Rust language support in the Kiota SDK generator and a companion RFC 9421 HTTP Message Signatures library across a 9-month timeline. As I finalize my milestone planning, I wanted to ask about reporting expectations during the grant period:
I ask because I want to build reporting into my timeline realistically and make sure my deliverables are as transparent and verifiable as possible throughout the engagement. Thanks in advance for any guidance. |

Hi @dicethedev,
For the SDK Grant, the mid-point and final reports are the only formal reporting requirements. The grant program manager will check in with you monthly. More frequent updates and engagement with other grantees certainly is welcomed, especially if there are aspects to collaborate on.
A template with suggested information for the mid-point and final reports will be provided. It's more of a starting point than strict format, as long as all of the information necessary to evaluate the work is provided.
The mid-point and final reports are formal requirements and must be posted to the Community Forum. Additional information can also be submitted confidentially, if necessary. Additional progress reporting and community engagement are welcomed and may be referenced in your mid-point and final reports. |
