PES6 Native v1.0.2 — Installer hotfix
Fix for tool installation in 1.0.1
Download PES6Builder.exe below and use it instead of the 1.0.1 builder.
This release fixes name 'WINGET_VS_OVERRIDE' is not defined, which prevented the Visual Studio Build Tools installation from starting and also broke the tool-details dialog. The installer now supplies the C++ build workload and recommended components correctly.
The compact PES6-oriented window has a prominent Select ISO action, drag-and-drop, visible build status/progress, and an expandable Show build log section. Output selection, cancellation, tool details and license notices remain available.
Verification
- 40 builder tests and 4 extractor tests passed.
- Installer success/failure branches were also exercised directly from the packaged executable's embedded code, using harmless stand-in processes that validate the workload options. Failed installation stops the remaining package queue and reports the exit code and error output.
- The packaged Windows executable was launched on an isolated desktop. The real Tk controls and normal/enlarged text layouts were exercised without launching the game or installing system tools during this hotfix verification.
- No game code/data is included. The bundled source archive was checked for game/build binaries.
Windows 10/11 x64 only. A lawfully obtained PAL Xbox 360 PES6 ISO is required. Missing build tools still require downloads, package agreement approval and possibly administrator permission or a builder restart. A real clean-machine Visual Studio installation was not repeated in this pass.
This is an installer hotfix, not a guarantee that no future issue can occur. Game-runtime changes, replay/audio investigation and the broader cleanup/dependency redesign are not included. Android remains unsupported.
