Removes compatibility shims; the library is new enough not to carry them.

  • Removed: the CLI's positional snapshot argument (osteosarc samples baseline). Choose a snapshot with --snapshot; without it, commands use the most recent. This also removes the guessing that told specimens SNAPSHOT apart from specimens SAMPLE_ID, and reads SNAPSHOT KEY apart from reads KEY REGION.
  • Removed: the empty [reads] install extra.
  • Fixed: the explorer's assets sample=T1_tumor now lists a sample's files; before, it failed with an internal error.
  • Kept: verify_bundle still reads bundles written by 0.2.2, which consumer repositories keep.

Validation:

  • CI passes on Python 3.9–3.13, including Varcode 7/9 consumer checks.
  • 249 tests pass against the built wheel in a clean virtualenv.
  • The installed CLI rejects the positional form and still lists samples and files.
