Dropbox fakes upload transfers

Comparing Dropbox Client with any other client is a hot mess - Dropbox servers cache uploaded files for an unknown period of time, even when completely removed from an account¹.
Add a warning on Dropbox to not compare the desktop client for upload or download speeds but against the website, which seems to ignore the server side cache.

Whether downloads are cached as well hasn't been tested yet.
