Perch 2.0.296 — What’s new

• The pointer stays where you put it. Two Macs could quietly take control back and forth from each other about once a second, with nobody touching a mouse. Whichever Mac has the pointer keeps it now.
• A steadier pointer on the other Mac. Each of those changes of control interrupted the movement arriving on the other screen, which is much of what made fast movement feel rough there.
• One rule for where the pointer goes: sharing starts once, and after that the pointer moves only when you carry it across the edge of a screen. Choosing a preset, or Share on this Mac, still places it wherever you want.
