Perch 2.0.297 — What’s new
- Perch uses the cable between your Macs. Connect them with Thunderbolt or Ethernet and keyboard and mouse sharing goes over the wire instead of Wi-Fi. On the desk this was measured on, the worst delay fell from about a tenth of a second to near a millisecond.
- Plug in at any time. Perch notices the cable and moves onto it without dropping the desk, and it never lets go of a working connection until the new one is up and verified.
- Nothing to set up. No setting, no choice to make. With no cable, Perch works exactly as before.
Every Mac on the desk needs this version.
