What's new

The Windows installer now shows the Geniuz logo:

  • Geniuz-Setup.exe displays the icon in Downloads / Explorer
  • The installer wizard window has the icon in its title bar
  • Windows Settings → Apps → Geniuz shows the logo next to the entry
  • The uninstaller unins000.exe carries the same icon

Same Geniuz.ico is multi-resolution (16/32/48/64/128/256) so the icon stays sharp at every Windows scale.

Install

Windows: Download Geniuz-Setup.exe, double-click, accept the SmartScreen warning (still unsigned — Authenticode cert procurement pending), follow the wizard.

Mac: Download Geniuz.dmg. Signed and notarized.

Linux:

Upgrading from earlier versions

Install v1.0.3 over the top — no need to uninstall first. The installer handles upgrade in place.

Known follow-up for v1.0.4

The icon is on the installer and Add/Remove Programs entry, but geniuz.exe itself doesn't yet have an embedded icon — so it shows a generic icon in Explorer, Taskbar, and shortcuts. v1.0.4 will add winresource + build.rs to embed the icon directly into the binary.
