Pre-release — checkpoint 1 of 3 toward full v1.1.0 ship.

First Windows installable with the tray scaffold. The site's Download button continues to serve v1.0.8 — this release is for direct test-install only.

What to verify

  • Install runs through to completion
  • A tray icon appears in the Windows notification area (may need to click the ^ to reveal hidden icons)
  • Right-click → three items: Open Geniuz / About / Quit Geniuz
  • Double-click tray icon opens a small window titled "Geniuz" showing memory count
  • geniuz --version reports 1.1.0
  • Start Menu has a new Geniuz entry that opens the tray

What's not in checkpoint 1

  • No Recent Memories list (comes in checkpoint 2)
  • No Claude Desktop Configure button (comes in checkpoint 3)
  • No restart-required banner (checkpoint 3)
  • No "Use Geniuz from Terminal" action (checkpoint 3)

If everything in the "verify" list works, checkpoint 1 is a pass and we build checkpoint 2 on top of it.
