Quiet board / ready for daily use

Polish-freeze before formal daily use. No large UI/product churn planned after this.

Changes

• Touch ⋯ affordance: @media (hover: none) shows a quiet always-visible ⋯ overlay (opacity ~0.55, ~36px hit); desktop stays hover-only. No permanent top chrome strip.
• Archive parity: archived cards use the same title+meta face; Restore lives in the ⋯ menu overlay (deleted .card-actions strip).
• Secondary views: Timeline + Archive wrappers drop heavy surface/border panels; stick to near-black accent, 8px radius, hairline language. Dialog already on the same tokens.
• Docs: handoff audit logs only actual stage moves (A→C one line; intentional skips are not logged as intermediate hops). EN + ZH README notes.
• Screenshots refreshed: timeline.jpg, timeline-dark-zh.jpg, archive.jpg, card-editor.jpg (board.jpg unchanged — desktop active face identical to v0.2.7).

• Full suite green (114 tests)
• No #5c6ac4 purple / no Live local board promo / no display:none chrome graveyard

v0.2.7 — title+meta cards

Title+meta kanban cards

Cards at rest show only title + meta (owner / due / blocked). No reserved top strip for ID, drag glyph, or ⋯.

Changes

• Remove .card-top face row (.cid, ⠿ drag-hint, menu layout slot)
• ⋯ menu is an absolute top-right overlay on hover/focus (no layout space at rest)
• Drop @media (hover: none) forced chrome so headless/touch screenshots stay clean
• Cursor grab is the drag affordance; IDs remain in aria / edit dialog / copy
• Blocked stays quiet (left hairline + meta text), as in v0.2.6
• Bundle formatTimestamp into the live client (fixes archive meta / activity re-render)

v0.2.6 — quieter Linear-like board chrome

Quiet aesthetic pass

• Near-black Linear-like primary CTA (drops SaaS indigo)
• Flatter 8px hairline cards, no resting shadow
• Segment labels: Active / Timeline / Archive (no counts)
• Short subtitle: template · N cards; status is empty live / Saved / Read-only
• Blocked cards: quiet meta text + left hairline (no flag chip)
• Risks collapsed by default; promo help footer removed
• Demo owners Title-Case; README board.jpg regenerated (~1440×900 lite 4-col)

Dead code deleted rather than hidden: stageColor, promo footers/strings, empty #board-footer, unused CSS.

114 tests green. No npm publish.

v0.2.5 — quiet premium UI

Quiet, high-end board after feedback that v0.2.4 still felt messy.

• One indigo accent; identical quiet columns (stage name + mono count only)
• Card face: title + owner + due — AC/DoD chips and rainbow stripes gone
• Actions hide until hover (⋯); Refresh / Log risk moved to toolbar overflow
• Gates collapsed under the board; risks are a compact strip; audit secondary
• README screenshot regenerated with the lite 4-column demo

No new features. npm test + check green. Not published to npm.

Calmer Linear/Things-light board chrome — not a heavier PM suite.

What's new

• Timeline view: a calendar-axis view of cards (start → due), alongside the stage board.
• UI polish: automatic dark mode (follows OS prefers-color-scheme), per-stage accent colors, softer WIP-over badges.
• zh / en: the live board now follows the browser language.
• Fix: cards that reached a shipped/terminal stage are no longer marked overdue.
• 94 tests passing (Node 22 / 24 CI).
• README demo GIF refreshed for the new UI on main after tagging (a89f344).
