"correct" usage #1123

Hey, To provide some information: For the temperature sensors I have the reporting set to update at 0.1C rather than the default of 1C. I then have a central zigbee dry relay (aqara T2 relay), which is connected to my gas combi boiler to turn on or off (no openthem). I have setup the central one (sorry I am unsure how to extract the YAML version of my setup), and have a question about a few things: My understanding is that the 0.1 to 0.8 will ensure that the TPI will only active if the heating is within those ranges, so if I set the heating to 21, then TPI will kick in at 21.1 (or is it 20.9?) and then turn off if it ever went about 21.8 - I.e. heating off. And then on the TRV's I have set them up as control over climate with the key pages (I believe) being: My question is, because I have Sonoff TRVZBs is the regulation threshold 3% as I am understanding it, even though its a over_climate setup, as when I look through the documents I see that it is setup as BTW just to add, I think the intergration is great, and overall I am really happy. waking up to just the parts of the house that are needed to be warm is great :) The only difference on all of this setup is that for the kitchen I have : As I was finding that such a big room and the radiator we have, plus alot of glass at the back of the room, the normal settings were not working, so I upped the coaf_int for that room (might have gone too far with 0.9 😄 ) and reduced a few things to try to get it pumping more heat into that area. |

Hello, one short answer: If you use TPI threshold you will degrade the regulation. If you want something stable around the target setpoint, keep it to 0.
21.1 if you set it to 0.1. You can set negative value liek -0.1 to have something between 20.9 and 21.1. But once again, just tune correctly your coef_int and coef_ext and you will have the best stability. Threshold are here to avoid too much changes on the device and is more efficient for very low latency device like pellet stove or heatin floor. You have TPI tuning advices here: https://github.com/jmcollin78/versatile_thermostat/blob/main/documentation/en/algorithms.md#principle In your case, try to augment the coef_ext (target temp not reached) |

Just to confirm, as removing the TPI thresholds, if, for the regulation threshold of 3% mentioned in the documents should be reflected as : As I see alot of people with 0.05 or around there. And so don't want to be setting it as 300% by accidentally |

For valve (this is your case, because you have TRVZB), you should set in %. Here is my configuration:
Where do you find this screen copy ? I can find it in the documentation.
