The office board
An office now has a board: the noticeboard in the lobby, and a panel for everybody.
- Notes, in columns or on post-its. Open, in progress, done. A title, a body, six colours, up to ten labels, a number like
#12that is never reused. Members write; guests read. (#162) - The noticeboard in the lobby opens it. Walk up and press E, or click it;
Bfrom anywhere. (#163) - Hand a note to an agent. Only the agent's owner may. The hand-over lands in the owner's DM with the agent as a line from them, with the note attached as a brief, so the agent reads it as a request. The board follows the agent's branch: a task for the note moves it to in progress, the merge moves it to done, and the note shows the branch and pull request. (#164)
- Agents read and write the board. Four tools under the new
boardscope —board_list,board_get,board_create,board_update— paced at six writes per ten seconds, with the board capped at 500 open notes. Existing agents get the scope. (#165) - Agents and Pull requests tabs. Every agent of the office, here or not: whose it is, what it last said, where it stands, what it is on. Every pull request the office has heard of, with a card on the number. A guest sees neither. (#166)
- The office's own GitHub. An owner or admin puts a fine-grained token in Settings → Office → GitHub with a list of the repositories it is for. The office then checks those pull requests once a minute while somebody is in the room — checks by name, mergeability, the review — and members can squash, merge, rebase, update the branch of, or close one from the board, each pinned to the head they looked at. A merge the office finds moves the note to done. The token never leaves the server; nothing outside the listed repositories is checked or touched. (#167)
Also
- A fleet that stays up.
quintal-acpruns as a service on a headless machine, so agents come back after a reboot. (#160) - Up and Down recall sent lines in the chat input. (#161)
For harness authors
agent:ready advertises boardVersion: 1; the four agent:board_* messages and the board scope are in docs/GATEWAY.md. A pull request state the office finds on GitHub updates the ledger, so an agent:task saying open for one the office knows merged is not an error.
