Swarm Lab 0.59.1 — the installable extension build.

Install

1. Download swarm-lab-0_59_1.vsix below (Assets).

2. In VS Code: Extensions → ⋯ → Install from VSIX… and select the file, or from a terminal:

   code --install-extension swarm-lab-0_59_1.vsix

3. Command Palette (Ctrl+Shift+P) → Swarm Lab: Open.

Verify your download against the .sha256 file beside it (SHA-256:

This release carries the built extension only: no source-code archives. The
repository holds the documentation and the Python client. You can also install
from Open VSX (publisher joe-el-khoury).

What's new since the last public notes (0.42)

• Tasks — separate pieces of work run on their own threads while you keep
  talking (Activity → Tasks).
• Checkpoints and ⟲ Rewind (0.59) — your folder is snapshotted before each
  message; rewind the files (and the conversation) to any message.
• A Git worktree per agent (0.59, optional) — parallel agents cannot
  overwrite each other; you get one review card per changed file.
• Cost forecast and a hard stop (0.59) — a likely cost and an upper bound
  before multi-agent runs; every run stops at swarmLab.runs.maxCostUsd.
• Public benchmark (0.59) — a small Python project with known bugs; Single,
  Tree and Swarm on the same five tasks, graded by tests, ready to publish.
• Documents — /stereport (long ASD-STE100 reports with citations),
  /livedeck (presentations you can edit while they are written), /build
  (a whole file planned and written part by part, checked in the browser).
• Browser and screenshots — agents capture your HTML files, local servers
  and web pages.
• Cited answers (optional) — each statement linked to the exact file lines
  or page, every citation checked.
• Setup — proxy information and a one-click Remove (0.58); your other
  assistants' rule files (AGENTS.md, CLAUDE.md, .cursorrules…) now count
  as project rules; learn-from-rejection rules.
• 16 built-in skills (0.43.17) and a folder for your own.
• 0.59.1 fix — opening Setup crashed with "Cannot read properties of null
  (reading 'value')"; fixed, with new checks.
