Fixed
mnemo did not work at all inside a git worktree, and the error looked like a broken tool. Every skill passed its JSON payload through a quoted heredoc; Claude Code's worktree guard cannot prove a heredoc stays inside the worktree and refuses the whole command, so ask, save, session, connect, health and setup all died on their first script call with too complex to verify. Measured 2026-09-04: the guard rejects the heredoc specifically — two echo lines in one call run fine, so multi-line commands were never the problem. All 45 payload blocks across six skills and two reference files now use a single-quoted herestring (<<< '{…}'), which is one line and keeps the shell out of the payload exactly as the quoted heredoc did. echo '…' | was rejected as the replacement: some shells interpret escape sequences there, and insert payloads legitimately begin with \n. The scripts themselves are unchanged — they already read JSON from stdin. The one form that still needs care is a payload containing a single quote (it closes the shell literal); references/gotchas.md now documents the file-redirect workaround, and the one placeholder that carried an apostrophe was reworded.
