QREncoder 1.1.0
The Bitmap Specimen.
New in 1.1.0
- Fourteen payloads: Text, URL, Wi-Fi, Email, Phone, SMS, Geo, Calendar,
Contact, Bitcoin (BIP 21), Lightning (BOLT 11), Monero, Zcash (ZIP 321),
Ethereum/EVM (EIP-681) — each composed from typed fields, with the resulting
string always shown. - Three symbol styles from one painting routine: Default, Standard, Liquid.
- Auto / Light / Dark appearance keys. The chrome follows the theme; the
symbol stays ink on a white plate. - Android share target: share a link from any app and it opens with the
symbol already drawn. - Real image clipboard on macOS and Android. Save PNG writes a file at
(modules + 8) × scalepixels; macOS can reveal it in Finder. - A fresh launch always starts on Text, with the caret in the payload box.
Install
- macOS:
QREncoder-1.1.0.dmg, drag to Applications. - Android:

Obtainium can follow these releases. - Linux: build from source.
No network calls at runtime, no telemetry, no stored payloads.
v1.0.2
Bug Fixes
- Save as PNG now shows native dialog: FilePicker.saveFile() displays a native Save As dialog on macOS instead of auto-saving to Documents
- Copy image now copies actual PNG bytes: Uses super_clipboard for raw image data on the system clipboard, compatible with image editors, chat apps, etc.
- Release APK signed with shared publisher key: Compatible with Zapstore distribution
v1.0.1
Bug Fixes
- Save as PNG now shows native dialog: FilePicker.saveFile() is used instead of auto-saving to a temp directory
- Copy image now copies the actual image: Uses base64-encoded PNG data in clipboard instead of just the text payload
- Scale (px/module) tooltip clarified: Added info icon explaining it affects export resolution only, not on-screen preview
Installation
- Android: Install the APK directly or via Obtainium
- macOS: Unzip and drag qrencoder.app to Applications
