Liber Linteum 0.1.3

A small fix release: Settings search no longer freezes, the top of the vault is reachable again from the file list, and a Markdown parser security update. The full list is in CHANGELOG.md.

Fixed

• Searching Settings no longer freezes the app. The first letter typed in the search showed every category at once, and the font menus drew each installed font in its own typeface, so the app loaded every font on the computer before answering (seconds on Linux). Installed fonts are now listed in the app's own font; the bundled ones still show in theirs.
• Drag to the top of the vault. Dropping a page or folder on the empty space below the files moves it out of its folder, to the vault's top level; the space lights up while you drag over it. The space stays at the end of the list even when the files fill the sidebar.
• New pages and folders at the top of the vault. Clicking the empty space below the files, or pressing Esc in them, clears the selection, so New page and New folder create at the vault's top level instead of in the last folder you clicked.

Security

• Wikilinks can't stall the Markdown parser. pulldown-cmark is updated to 0.13.6 for RUSTSEC-2026-0414 and RUSTSEC-2026-0433: a crafted [[link|…]] or nested image wikilinks could make parsing a page take exponential or quadratic time.

A release shaped by feedback: images you can resize, open and preview, an Open list for the pages you're working on, and a lighter page header. The full list is in CHANGELOG.md.

Added

• Resize an image by dragging its corner. In Live Preview, hover an image and drag the handle at its bottom-right corner. The width is written into the link as Obsidian does (![[x.png|300]], ![alt|300](x.png)), so it shows at that size in Preview and in other apps.
• A right-click menu on images. Open an image in your system's image viewer (Open in default app) or show it in its folder (Finder, File Explorer or your file manager).
• Images open in the app. Clicking an image in the sidebar, an attachments folder included, shows it full size with its dimensions.
• An Open list at the top of the sidebar. Every page and file you open is listed above Favorites until you close it with ×, a middle click, Delete or Close all. Going back to one finds it as you left it: cursor, scroll and undo history. The list is kept per vault across restarts and follows renames.

Changed

• The page header's controls sit on the tags row, at the right, instead of halfway down the header. In narrower windows, Format and Live Preview · Source · Split show just their icons, and the buttons move to the row below the tags when they don't fit beside them.
• The header is lighter over a cover. The title, breadcrumbs, tags, backlinks and buttons sit on a light frosted glass, so more of the cover shows through. With Increase contrast or Reduce transparency on in the system, they keep the solid backing.

Fixed

• Image sizes survive Update existing attachment links. A sized ![[x.png|300]] switched to a file:// link showed full size; it now keeps its width, and links converted by 0.1.1 turn back into ![[x.png|300]].

Security

• ctutils 0.4.6 under the encryption libraries, for RUSTSEC-2026-0385 (masks and comparisons that weren't constant-time).

A patch release with four fixes, most of them for Linux, and one addition. The full list is in CHANGELOG.md.

Added

• Update existing attachment links. Settings → This Vault now says how many attachment links use another format than Link format for new attachments, and offers to update them. Sizes, aliases and #… are kept, archived pages are left alone, and a page is only rewritten when every link still finds the same file.

Fixed

• Pasting an image on Linux. A screenshot or a copied image can now be pasted into a page on Ubuntu and other Linux systems; before, nothing happened.
• Live Preview shows images inside a paragraph, such as an image on the line after a list item, instead of ![[…]].
• Live Preview shows colour labels (<span data-color="…">, <span data-bg="…">) in their colour.
• Menus highlight the item the arrow keys reach. The spelling menu, the vault menu and the others moved, but showed no highlight on Linux. The pointer now moves the same highlight.

The first release. Private notes that stay on your machine: plain Markdown files in a folder you own, a canvas that shows how they connect, and no network requests at all.

• Global View: projects, folders and pages as cards with covers, linked by what they reference. Drill in or expand in place; draw relationships by dragging.
• Live Preview editor: callouts, toggles, columns, code highlighting, KaTeX maths and Mermaid diagrams, tables you edit like a grid, covers and icons.
• Atoms: every page broken into its parts; click one to open the page right there.
