Req_it

Getting Started

• 1. Go to https://github.com/jr1412594/reqItBack and clone down the repo
• 2. In the terminal run the command: bundle install.
• 3. Run the command: rails db:migrate.
• 4. Run the command: rails db:seed.
• 5. Run the command: rails server -b=0.0.0.0.
• 6. Download Expo Client on your mobile device.
• 7. In this terminal run the command: expo start.
• 8. Open the camera on your device and scan the QR code in the command line.
• 9. Sign in with your name and a room number
• 10. Navigate the app.

About

Req_it app was designed to be used by hotels to help streamline communication, and help deliver the best service possible to guests, while keeping the process fast and simple for all parties involved.

Features

• As a guest you can sign in with your name and your room number.
• Navigate to report issue and snap a photo of damage to be sent to engineering department
• Navigate to Request Items and select items to be sent to your room
• Navigate to your requested lists and see what items you have requested
• As an employee, log in with 'HouseAdmin' and 'password'.
• Navigate to reported issues screen to see what images have been sent over to be fixed.
• Navigate to requested items screen and see what and where items need to be delivered.
• Once items have been delivered, double tap the item to deleted it from the requested list.
