The definition will be published but clarifying that the project mindset is to use the term "tooling" to be as much inclusive as possible. We'll rename the implementations page to use "Tooling" as well.
@gregsdennis to continue the publication of the definition of implementation but clarifying that the project mindset is to use the term "tooling" to be as much inclusive as possible.
@benjagm will work on comms and renaming of the implementations page to use "Tooling"
Notes:
@jviotti shared that the revised version of his blog post about scopes is almost completed!
The team discussed add glossary entry for 'implementation' website#277 about publishing the definition of Implementation in the glossary. The common view is that most of the user base understands better the term tooling while implementation is more a term understood by implementers. We also discussed pros and cons of using tooling vs implementations and we found that we prefer to be as much inclusive as possible so any JSON Schema tooling creator felt included and empowered. This is the reason we'll start using the term tooling, and consider any tool an implementation. Additionally the Implementation term will be added to the glossary but reflecting this same spirit.
GSoC mentors shared a brief summary of their project ideas and it was an amazing surprise that @gregsdennis and @mwadams decided to collaborate with a project idea to create a .NET source generation analyzer powered by Corvus.JsonSchema (.Net). 🎉🎉
