New user - Searching and sync

[bowen192]

Just started using Lap as our company has had Picassa taken away. Just a couple of questions;

1. Can you search for an image based on a folder name, regardless of the image name? For example, show all images in folders named 'Houses'.

2. Can you auto-sync folders, or do you need to manually update every time you add images?

Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion!

1. I’ll consider adding folder-based filters to Smart Albums, so you could gather photos from all folders named “Houses,” regardless of the image filenames
2. @wmorin has already provided a detailed explanation of folder syncing in How do I scan new photos? #344. Please refer to it for more information.

Thank you.

Would there be a way so you could type in 'Houses' into a search and it would display all images with 'houses' in the filename AND images contained in any folder with 'houses' in its name?
