Folio 0.1.0 alpha
Pre-release
Folio's refreshed macOS alpha brings the landing page's visual style into the app. The universal installer supports Apple Silicon and Intel; the app reports version 0.1.0.
What's changed
- Cool white surfaces, soft sky gradients, rounded controls, and matching typography.
- Refreshed settings, dropdowns, blue accents, and dark mode.
- New overlapping-page app icon, welcome logo, loading screen, and blue-dot wordmark.
- Landing page and documentation now link to the installer.
Install or update
Download Folio_0.1.0_universal.dmg, quit Folio, and drag the app into Applications. Choose Replace when prompted.
This alpha is ad-hoc signed for bundle integrity, but is not Developer ID signed or notarized. Clean-Mac installation of a downloaded build remains unverified. Updates are manual.
Validation
All 35 frontend tests, lint, formatting, TypeScript checks, and the production build passed. The refreshed welcome screen and settings were checked in the browser. Both universal binary architecture slices and the bundle signature were verified. Document rendering behavior is unchanged.
Intel hardware execution, physical drag-and-drop, physical printing, clean-Mac installation, and the GitHub alpha workflow remain unverified. Windows and Linux are not validated.
Download SHA256SUMS.txt alongside the DMG and run shasum -a 256 -c SHA256SUMS.txt to verify the download.
