Added

  • Home and Space separate chats and Projects from content browsing while remembering each destination. The navigation rail remains available with the sidebar hidden, and each split panel has an Open tabs chooser with live titles and counts.

  • An Inbox above New chat captures thoughts, todos and questions as Pages without first choosing a Project, and opens them as tabs beside itself. A suggestion Agent names messages and always proposes a concrete next step for confirmation, with exact targets and grouped scope visible. Drafts and confirmed inputs survive interrupted replies, edits preserve concurrent changes, and grouped filing has one atomic Undo. Busy chats receive confirmed messages into their own queue. Settings reuse available models while refreshing. Handled messages leave for History, and a message sent by mistake can be deleted for good. Agents and nodex inbox send can leave messages in the Inbox of the Project they work in. Messages are written in Markdown and can carry pasted, dropped or picked images, and the stream shows each message with its formatting and images. A message marked important stays within reach: while it is out of view, the Inbox points back to it with how long it has waited.

  • Appearance settings can choose UI, content and code fonts separately for light and dark themes, with independent UI, code and Page text sizes that stay consistent across windows and restart.

  • A started chat can continue on another Agent: choose another Agent's model and the next message carries the conversation so far to it, including in finished chats. Returning to an earlier Agent resumes its own conversation with only what it missed, and the transcript marks each handoff. Agents can do the same for another chat, and each model keeps the options last chosen for it.

  • A fork can merge its finished work back into the chat it came from with /merge; that chat's next message carries what the fork found, on whichever Agent it uses. Agents can merge forks they manage.

  • Codex and Claude chats can delegate work to each other, open each child's conversation, and receive results after the parent Turn ends. Delegated work, result delivery and cancellation survive runtime restart, while Profile snapshots preserve the complete execution history and native conversation identities.

  • Chats can use configured OpenCode models, including Kimi and OpenRouter providers, through the shared searchable model menu, with native options and questions. OpenCode is enabled by default, initially showing its -free models with other models available through Show all models. If OpenCode is missing, its official installer is available directly from the model menu and Settings. Independent profiles preserve model choices, and conversation history restores each prompt with its replies across restart and pagination.

  • Local tasks can use Claude Code with its existing login, configuration, skills and tools in the shared conversation UI, including images, native model and effort choices, questions, task details, steering, compaction, forks and session recovery. Chats can start in the Project folder or a managed worktree with the selected starting state and setup environment, then move between them while retaining the same native conversation and uncommitted changes. Existing CLI conversations can be connected to a Project or projectless chat and inspected through their native history. Separate profiles support environment variables, encrypted tokens and custom models. Application tools and scheduled tasks use the selected native profile.

  • Dictation streams into your draft by default, preserves edits when the cursor moves, and offers captured speech for recovery after an interruption. Streaming uses authenticated desktop connections with workspace and system-proxy routing, and performance details identify handshake rejections and timeouts.

  • Admitted Codex chats can start realtime voice with microphone and output mute controls. Calls stay active while switching chats within the same window and release their microphone when ended or cancelled.

  • Voice settings can manage an account dictionary when available.

  • Voice settings can transcribe a selected WebM file and retain its audio and text with recent recordings for copying or retrying.

  • Chats render interactive HTML responses with calendars, tooltips, tabs, carousels and icons in isolated widgets. Fullscreen viewing and switching chats within one window preserve the live document; saved selections recover when it is rebuilt, follow-ups can use saved model state, and authorized downloads and image copying are available. Authored adjustments can preview changes and send them with the next request.

  • Chats show created conversations as navigable results with reply previews. Opening them preserves the execution host and pending worktree identity; child conversations open in their parent context.

  • Assistant responses support expandable details and formulas written with slash delimiters or math code fences.

  • Suggested tasks prepare a focused draft in the source Project, ready for review and sending.

  • Message images can open in a separate read-only tab, copy their contents or web address, add an attachment to the chat, and download a copy.

  • MCP Apps in chat messages can add context to the draft and voice call while preserving updates that arrive during submission.

  • Files can preview remote text, Markdown, images and PDFs while preserving the source host when pinned or reopened.

  • Any earlier message in a chat can be edited, not only the latest. Sending the edit continues the conversation from the rewritten message with its images and attached context, replacing every later Turn while leaving files untouched. Local Codex and Claude chats now offer editing too, and an open edit keeps its draft while you scroll.

Changed

  • Database Pages show only the properties that have something to say. Empty properties wait behind one N more properties row and keep their place while you fill them in; Always show in a Database's Page layout pins a property that should always prompt for a value.

  • Pages open in one steady layout: properties appear as soon as the Page is selected, the title keeps its weight and line breaks, and the body fills in without a placeholder flash.

  • Markdown written with * or + bullets, 1) numbers, lists nested with spaces, or tables with short | - | rules keeps its lists, nesting and tables in Pages, and a paragraph that merely starts like a list or heading stays a paragraph.

  • The messages you write in a chat show in the same message style as the Inbox: lines you wrote together stay together, bare links are clickable, and long messages collapse the same way.

  • An unsent chat draft keeps its images across a reload or restart, not only its text.

  • Scheduled has its own sidebar of upcoming tasks with search, status filters and task actions. Cron tasks open as folders of their runs, runs and Heartbeat chats open without leaving Scheduled, and tasks are created and edited in a focused dialog. A selected task reads as the conversation that set it up, with a reply box for follow-up questions.

  • The composer that floats over full-width content can be dragged to any corner or the bottom centre, resized from either edge, and minimized to a bubble that keeps its own corner. Its header with chat and location controls unfolds while you type, clicking it expands the latest reply above the prompt, and an unread reply appears as a card you can open or dismiss. Size and position are remembered.

  • A Project now opens on its own Inbox. Thoughts about the Project land there as Pages on its Board, suggestions stay inside the Project, and the sidebar counts what is waiting. The Board opens beside the Inbox as an ordinary tab, and ⌘⇧D captures into the Inbox of the Project you are in.

  • Nodex starts faster by loading optional panels when opened, with a restart action if a view cannot load.

  • Agents can read and write all Projects, Pages and Library resources in the current Profile, including across Sessions and from background tasks. Native execution uses full access and automatically approves permission requests while retaining questions that need your input.

  • Long chats display bounded history while restoring execution, update streamed items independently, and give foreground history requests dedicated capacity. Persisted and live voice segments keep their native order alongside text; missing promoted content and failed item-history pages can be restored in place. Completed responses show their available outputs, and active voice work keeps its live status. Sending, expanding tools, and resizing the composer preserve the reading position; Find includes all assistant messages and retained voice text, with highlights restored as visible rows change.

  • Queued follow-ups show native and captured local messages together, with editing, ordering and delivery routed to each message's owner. Widget requests wait for the native queue to drain before submitting their confirmed context.

  • New Profiles reuse native Codex login, settings and skills by default, with safe directory switching, a shared native conversation chooser, and desktop tools scoped to each Nodex Profile. An independent account directory can change the active login after restart while retaining the same conversation history.

  • Nodex is now distributed under the Apache License 2.0.

Fixed

  • Terminal output failures no longer trigger runaway error reporting and memory exhaustion.

  • Existing Profiles open reliably after an upgrade and resume background cleanup while preserving saved document content.

  • macOS notifications wait for system authorization before sending, and Settings shows the current permission with an action to allow notifications or open System Settings.

  • Terminals retain startup events and release processes that exit before attachment completes.

  • Deleted Pages are cleared from local storage once their retention period ends instead of being kept indefinitely.

  • Retained edits that cannot be received can now be removed from this device after confirmation, clearing their warning without changing current documents.

  • Dictation recovers incomplete streams without duplicating completed segments, respects account availability and language settings, and preserves newer clipboard contents during global paste recovery.

  • Global dictation no longer disappears with service rollout changes. Voice retains global shortcut and dictionary settings, and its sound preference applies to both capture surfaces.

Security

  • Hardened rich-text paste, equations, diagrams, and configuration parsing against malicious input.

Removed

  • Intel Mac builds. macOS releases and automatic updates now support Apple Silicon only.
