I rebased this in my own repo, rkdarst/batchspawner:run_command_method and did one small fix. Tests pass locally. Let me know if you want a new PR... |

Moving the
run_commandfunction into theBatchSpawnerBaseclass allows the functionality to be overridden by sub classes. For example, a subclass could SSH into a remote server to run the commands instead of locally on the machine.
