Major changes:

  • Removed smolagents and completely rewrote most of the tool
    • note: we don't really sandbox python the same way smolagents did, but there is a new docker command to run agents in a container for now
  • New event system, used by the UI for now but should make it easier to add an api too
  • Save conversation history, allow resuming
  • Launch sub processes for sub agents and communicate with jsonl between the parent/child instead of using threads that kept breaking
  • Automatically load CLAUDE.md and AGENTS.md as context (can be configured)
  • New tools for reading/writing files
  • Refactored UI system, made it less fancy and more terminal friendly
  • Started using pydantic instead of dataclasses for config and some other objects
