@kanzo-tech/ai

  • Breaking: @kanzo-tech/ai/data answers with a dashboard tile, not SQL. The model no longer writes a query. It fills an Answer from names the page generated:
    • a relation of your join graph;
    • the conditions a dashboard's filters publish;
    • a Tile, read with what the dashboard reads it with, under the page's crossfilter.
  • Gone: describeSchema, gateStatement, QueryResult, the scope option, DataSchema, DataScope, SchemaReference, QueryOutput, QueryRefusal, QueryAnswer and the query/refused code. @codemirror/lang-sql is no longer a peer. The tool is now answer, not query.
  • What an Ask panel changes:
    • The schema: readJoinGraph (or useJoinGraph()), then readAnswerRelations(coordinator, graph, relations), replaces describeSchema.
    • The agent: dataAgent({ model, coordinator, graph, relations, selection }), with no schema, scope or key.
    • The pills: dataSuggestions({ model, graph, relations, selection }).
    • The card: the answer tool is drawn with AnswerCard. Filter to it publishes the answer's conditions as one semi-join on the root key, labelled Ask. Pass onAdd to offer Add to the dashboard.
    • The types: QueryOutput is now AnswerOutput.
    • The changeset in the repository spells out each step.

@kanzo-tech/ui

  • A dashboard hidden behind MosaicClients enabled={false} draws its filters in FilterBar as when it is shown: the chips that open each control, their remove buttons, and + Filter.
    • Nothing to edit, unless you drew a second row for the hidden view's filters; delete it.
    • Pass table to FilterBar in every view for the readout to appear in every view.
  • ShellDockSwitcher and ShellDockItem switch a dock's panels, as VS Code's activity bar does:
    • one icon per panel, whose label is its tooltip and its accessible name;
    • the icon is checked while its panel is open, and pressing it again collapses the panel;
    • the items are radios, with aria-checked.
  • @kanzo-tech/ui/analytics exports parseTile, measureExpr, bucketExpr, DASHBOARD_CHART_TYPES and DASHBOARD_AGGREGATES.

@kanzo-tech/graph

  • Breaking: frameSelection() is now frame(), and it frames what is in full colour. That is the selection within what the filters keep, or what the filters keep when nothing is selected, or the whole graph when nothing is greyed out.
  • ⌘/Ctrl and Alt with no selection start from what the page's filters keep. The canvas never changes another place's filter, and Esc clears only the canvas's selection.
  • GraphToolbar's selection group shows whenever something is greyed out.
    • It reads N of T, with · M hidden by other filters when that applies.
    • The frame button is now named Frame what is in full colour.
    • Clear the selection shows only while the canvas holds a selection.

@kanzo-tech/mosaic

  • kanzo-ui no longer patches @uwdata/mosaic-core, and a host no longer carries a patch. v0.33.1's patch fixed the symptom in the wrong place.
    • Drop patches/@uwdata__mosaic-core@0.32.0.patch and its pnpm.patchedDependencies entry if you added them.
    • Release what the coordinator's clients read the way a cache collects an entry, some time after its last reader went, not as the readers unmount.
