A new feature of Migratory species needed in the RBIS #2628
Comments
Hi @dimasciput, just a reminder about the above request. |
Hi @mmindje can you provide the list of the options for me? And maybe some sample data |
@mmindje I assume this would only apply to some taxon groups such as birds. Please think through the use case and why a decision maker would need to separate out migratory from non-migratory species. Lets cat further at our next meeting. |
Sure, Helen, that would definitely be applied for birds. Maybe we can make
something in the dashboard to show them........ Or can we find the
information about what species are migratory ten we incorporate those in
the RBIS?

@mmindje It is already possible to add extra attributes for a biodiversity module such as birds. You need to add the attribute in taxon management, and then add the column in the master list and upload the master list again so that the migratory/non-migratory data are attribute for each species. Please check the notes. Then upload master list again for birds. |
Dear @dimasciput,
We were thinking of having a filter option of Migratory species such that we can be able to indicate the option in the master list.
we can maybe create something like for endemism, etc in the filter option like in the snapshot
