Types

There are multiple types of games which can be played

  • X01

    • This is the classic dart game type. Each player starts with X01 points (301, 501, 701) and compete to reach zero. Starting player is determined by shooting for bull, where the closest player start (in case of a draw, rethrow). The finishing dart must be a double to finish the game. More information can be found on Wikipedia
  • X01 Handicap

    • This is the same as X01, but a starting handicap can be given to each player as an additional number of points that must be hit before checking out
  • Cricket

    • Cricket is another popular mode of darts. The goal is to "close" each number from 15-20 and Bull. A number is closed once hit 3 times. Once closed continous hits on the number will give that amount of points to all other players who have not closed the given number. The game finishes when a player has closed all the number and has the lowest score. More information can be found on Wikipedia
  • 9 Dart Shootout

    • This type is often used as a tie breaker in tournaments. Each player starts with zero points, and throws 9 darts (3 darts at a time) and see who can score the most points. Starting player is determined by going for bull, whoever is closest determines the starting order.
    • If two players have the highest, same score after 9 darts, an additional visit is added for each player, until a winner is determined
  • 99 Darts at X

    • Practice game where each player will throw 99 darts at a given number. Points are given for each hit, with single counting as 1, doubleas 2 and triple as 3 points. The winner is the player with the most points once everyone has thrown 99 darts at the given number.
  • Around the World

    • Practice game consisting of 21 rounds. For each round the goal is to hit the corresponding target number as many times as possible. Points are scored for single, double and triple, so the maximum score per round is 3 x triple. The winner is the player with the most points after 21 rounds
  • Shanghai

    • This is exactly the same as Around The World, except it adds another win condition. If a player is able to hit a single, double and triple of the current target number for a round, that player automatically wins the game, no matter the score of other players. More information can be found on Wikipedia
  • Around the Clock

    • Practice game where the goal is to hit each number from 1 to 20 and finally Bull in the fewest darts possible. Each player starts with 0 points and get 1 point for each target hit. Winner is the player who first hits Bullseye. Only singles count, except for bull where both single and double is valid. More information can be found on Wikipedia
  • Tic-Tac-Toe

    • This game will create a tic-tac-toe board, with numbers based on the starting score selected when starting the game. The goal of the game is to get three numbers in a row, vertically, horizontally or diagonally. Each player will alternate turns throwing three darts trying to hit the score required. Game will end with either one player winning, or in a draw.
    • If a given number is reached before throwing three darts, a player can chose to end their visit early, and close the given number
    • When starting a game you can also specify the Outshot required to close a number
  • Bermuda Triangle
