Keeploop 0.27.9

  • Monitors now stay inside the access profiles of the session that owns them. A monitor made before its folder or app got an access profile, or taken over with claim_route, no longer brings mail from accounts that profile leaves out, and a session can still list, change and cancel its own monitors after its folder gets a profile.
  • Mail monitors can skip whole accounts: choose them under "Skip accounts" in Settings > Monitors (agents: account_excludes).

  • Mail monitors can skip newsletters and promos: turn on "Skip bulk mail" in Settings > Monitors (agents: exclude_bulk). Senders you add under "Always allow" (agents: bulk_allow) still get through, for services and clients that send list mail you want to see.

  • Call and voicemail alerts name the caller from your Contacts first. A number that is not in Contacts shows the carrier's caller ID marked "(caller ID)", so it never passes for a contact; recent_calls keeps the caller ID in caller_id_name.
  • Agents on this Mac can choose how a monitor wakes them when their chat is closed: open it in your terminal or just notify you (wake_mode). Background runs are still chosen only in Settings > Monitors.
  • A session can take over every monitor on a route with claim_route, keeping each monitor and its settings, instead of re-creating them after a handoff. Matches already shown to the previous session are not shown again.
  • Codex delivery keeps working after a Node upgrade: a saved Codex location that no longer exists falls back to finding codex automatically (Keeploop warns in its setup check), and npm's codex launcher is swapped for the real Codex program it ships with.
  • Settings > Alerts and destinations shows "Saved" for a moment after each change is written, and the Codex location shows which codex Keeploop will use.

  • A woken chat can open in iTerm or Warp instead of Terminal: pick the app under Settings > Monitors > When the chat is closed.
  • Agents with a route can watch every incoming call and voicemail (optionally missed calls only) and every new or changed note (optionally one folder).
  • Monitors on notifications, calls, notes, calendar and texts show their own fields in Settings > Monitors and can be saved. Before, a notifications monitor (such as one watching Slack or Teams) could not be saved, and an edit could drop part of its filter.
  • Add to ChatGPT in Settings > Remote access opens Keeploop in the ChatGPT plugin directory: choose Add there. With your own tunnel it still uses Create custom MCP server.
  • Codex delivery finds codex installed with nvm, so check_setup no longer says it cannot find the codex command.

  • Settings > Alerts and destinations has a Notifications table. For each kind of notification (monitor matches, agent resumed, wake asks, approvals, sending, promises, monitor changes, connection, account) choose a Mac banner and a sound; monitor matches, wake asks, approvals and promises can also go to your phone and Slack. The switch for messages to agent sessions moved into the table too. Sounds are off until you turn them on. Asks that block an action always show on the Mac.
  • One banner per monitor match. When the match's agent asks to resume, or runs in the background, that banner takes the match banner's place instead of adding a second one, and the phone gets the question only.
  • Monitors an agent made alert only when no agent picks up the match ("Only when no agent picks it up", on by default). An open session that already got the match no longer also shows a banner.
  • When an agent could not run, the banner always reads like "Claude Code not resumed: Invoices", with the reason below.
  • No more echo banners: no "Added to calendar" after you click Add, "Tracking" replaces "Promise found", and no "set a monitor" banner when an agent on this Mac made the change in the chat in front of you.
  • The older ntfy phone setting moves into the ntfy destination, so a match is never pushed to your phone twice.
  • Monitors can match everything for an agent that reads a route: match_all on the mail, Messages and Slack monitor tools (with routes only). For Slack it means every direct message, every group DM and every mention of you; texts cover phone numbers, email handles and short codes.
  • Mail monitors take a mailbox, such as INBOX. Gmail's inbox counts, though Gmail files that mail under All Mail.
  • A new monitor with routes starts with its Mac banner and phone push off, since an agent reads it and the source app shows its own banner. Phone destinations you add later stay off for it too. Turn them on per monitor in Settings > Monitors. Existing monitors keep their settings.

  • Monitors can now end on any date, or never. Settings > Monitors has an Ends control (On a date or Never) with quick Extend buttons, and the 30-day limit is gone. AI apps still set 24 hours unless you or they choose otherwise.
  • The details sheet of an ended monitor scrolls again.
  • A monitor set to never end stays that way: when ChatGPT renews it, Keeploop no longer adds an end date or moves an end date earlier.
  • Claude Code sessions that move to another git worktree of the same project no longer duplicate their monitors. When the old worktree folder is gone, its monitor moves to the new one; otherwise the AI app is told about the monitor in the other worktree and can move it. A monitor whose session is still open is never moved.
  • The monitor sheet's button now says Close, and rows no longer blur behind the buttons.

  • Monitor alerts now name where the match came from, like "Slack monitor" or "Messages monitor", instead of always saying "Mail monitor".
  • When your Mac is asleep or offline, the Today card in ChatGPT no longer shows buttons that cannot work until the Mac is back.
  • The tool that collects matches for a shared monitor route now tells AI apps that it is not read-only: later reads of that route skip the matches it returned.

@iknowdjz iknowdjz released this 28 Oct 00:45
  • Monitors that watch app notifications now skip reactions, like "Ann reacted to your message", unless the AI app asks for them when it sets the monitor.
  • ChatGPT cards now show "Loading..." until they fill in, instead of a blank card.
  • When a ChatGPT card cannot show something, it now says so on the card instead of failing. Free time says Calendar is not shared only when that is the problem, and gives the real reason otherwise.
  • Buttons on ChatGPT cards now use plain prompts. Where ChatGPT supports it, the prompt goes into the chat box for you to edit before sending.
  • ChatGPT's reply under a card is now short: the card holds the details instead of the reply repeating the whole list.

  • Keeploop no longer turns on Open at login by itself. Turn it on in Settings > General if you want Keeploop to start when you log in.
  • If remote access cannot start, Settings now says why. Turning remote access off clears the message.
  • Signing in again on a Mac you already paired replaces its old entry instead of adding a second Mac. If Sign out does not finish, Keeploop now tells you why.
  • Web and phone AI apps are now told when your Keeploop tools change, for example after you turn on a source, so they can pick up the new tools.
  • The page where you approve an AI app now shows whether each Mac is online, or when it was last seen.

  • Monitors can now carry routes, short labels like duet:my-channel. An AI session that was not open when a monitor was set can call check_route with that label to get the new matches of every monitor that carries it. Part of Pro. A monitor's routes show in Settings > Monitors.
  • Web and phone AI apps can now rename a monitor, pause or resume it, change when it ends and change its routes, if they may set monitors. Changing what a monitor watches or how it alerts you is still done only from your Mac.
