Unifai 0.9.7 adds explanations for spending totals, local recovery and richer read-only access for agents.

Spending and payments

• Click an Overview spending total or View breakdown to inspect its payments, estimates, accruing usage and exchange rates.
• Confirm or edit detected payments directly inside a wallet. New detections retain their before-and-after balance evidence.
• Separate top-ups are no longer swallowed by an earlier detected purchase. Receipt imports replace one matching estimate and stop on ambiguous matches.
• Budget alerts include accruing cloud usage, matching the dashboard.

Local recovery

• Automatic backups keep 30 recent versions and 14 daily checkpoints on your Mac.
• Open Settings → Review Local Backups to restore a copy. The displaced file is preserved; API keys stay in Keychain.

Agent access

The bundled MCP server is version 0.3.0 with 12 read-only tools. Six new tools explain spending, inspect a payment, list unconfirmed entries, inspect wallet and cloud details, show expected renewals and report data freshness.

Stale or failed wallet readings are excluded from usable-capacity recommendations. MCP queries do not refresh accounts, confirm payments, make purchases or write data.
