Localauto 0.1.0-beta.1

The first Localauto beta. It fills job applications from a profile you type in and answers you chose to keep. Everything stays on your device.

Install

You need Chrome 116 or newer.

1. Download localauto-0.1.0-beta.1-chrome.zip below.
2. Unzip it into a folder you will keep.
3. Open chrome://extensions and turn on Developer mode.
4. Choose Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder.
5. Pin Localauto. Click the icon to open the side panel.

To update later, unzip the new release over the same folder and press reload on the Localauto card. Your profile and saved answers stay.

What it does

• Fill empty fields writes your name, email, phone, and links, and answers you kept, into empty fields.
• Review answers on this form lets you keep the answers you wrote, for the next application.
• A reworded question is shown as a suggestion with its source. Nothing fills until you click Accept.
• Works on Greenhouse (including its dropdown questions), Lever (including checkbox questions), and ordinary forms elsewhere.
• Never fills password, payment, or hidden fields, or fields you already filled.
• Settings lists every saved answer, and you can delete any of them.

Not yet: Workday, LinkedIn Easy Apply, file uploads, date pickers, and multi-select dropdowns.
