Engine floor moves to kglite 0.18.0 (from 0.17.10, taking 0.17.11 and
0.17.12 with it). The Python requirement is now kglite>=0.18.0,<0.19: the
wheel's .kgl writer and the installed kglite reader stay on one engine
minor. 0.18.0's headline — relationship embeddings and text indexes at
parity with nodes — is not something codingest consumes: the builder writes
no embeddings and no text indexes, none of 0.18.0's declared Rust API breaks
(TextScoreRewrite, RelValue, EdgeBinding, ImportStats, RawOp, the
embedding import/export arities) touches an API codingest calls, and every
frozen parity golden is byte-identical across the move.
Graph-carried code-review recipes keep their MCP tool name. kglite
0.17.12 lets a recipe query be served as its own MCP tool and added RecipeRecord.tool; the methodology writer that stores the code_review/*
recipes into a graph now carries a query's tool through from the recipe
manifest, so a .kgl served by a plain kglite-mcp-server --graph exposes
the same tools as the compiled catalogue. The bundled catalogue declares no tool today, so the served tool list is unchanged. With 0.17.11–0.17.12 the run_recipe_query catalogue block codingest-mcp serves also keeps each
query's parameter schema.
Live floor declarations moved together: the Rust kglite and kglite-mcp-server requirements, Python requirement, CI wheel pin,
import-failure hint, bundled code-review skill and current README/docs
snippets now require 0.18.0. Historical release, parity and benchmark
records keep their earlier citations.
