    Adds eplt.plot_fit which plots a 1D fit result with optional confidence intervals and components. The functionality is also available as a new step in figure composer, and can be created from the right-click context menu of a fit in ftool.

  • interactive: add optional light plot backgrounds (#613) (4b3f026)

    Adds an option to render GUI plots with black text and white backgrounds.

  • manager: make color linking opt-in (#611) (bfa2258)

    Clicking on the link badge now opens a menu where users can toggle color linking.

    Adds an action beside Open Log Directory to open the custom Matplotlib style directory.

    Adds a Remove Coordinates tab for selecting scalar coordinates to remove from ImageTool data.

  • interactive: add Angle Calculator (19d9bf0)

    Adds a new Angle Calculator application for planning ARPES experiments. Angle Calculator visualizes angular and photon energy coverage in momentum space. Users can import Fermi surface images from calculations to visualize where a feature will appear in angle space, or draw arbitrary elliptical pockets in momentum space which will be mapped to angle space. These image and pocket overlays are also available in ktool.

  • kspace: add optional Jacobian correction (b057ca4)

    Implements Jacobian intensity correction for when converting from angles to momentum coordinates.

  • io.plugins: add support for SES .txt files (#606) (6701e27)

    Adds SES .txt file loading capabilities to the da30 loader.

    Also adds the espresso data loader plugin for the HiSOR BL9B ESPRESSO endstation.

  • manager: retain data history across multiple inputs (#614) (46ae204)

    Improve code generation and store data so that Revert can restore prior data even for some destructive edits.

  • manager: preserve closed app state (#617) (c660b02)

  • manager: improve provenance code quality (#616) (c312c9d)

    Fixes an issue where copying selected provenance steps includes internal ImageTool dimension restoration helpers and disconnected variable names.

  • analysis: preserve data coordinates in corrections and models (#609) (3b5886b)

    Fixes an issue where non-index coordinates on correction, mask, and model parameter arrays could add or remove coordinates in the result.

  • manager: use current workspace defaults when opening ktool (4b9c15b)

    Fixes an issue where the current workspace preferences were not applied to newly opened ktool windows.

  • goldtool: prevent macOS crashes (#600) (ece9173)

    Prevents a possible stack overflow during initial Numba compilation triggered by fitting on macOS.

♻️ Code Refactor

  • kspace: separate analyzer and sample work functions (bea6d31)

    The work function is now stored separately for the analyzer and sample. The work function setter attribute was called sample_workfunction which was misleading; the work function used for kinetic energy conversion is now stored in analyzer_work_function.
