No Change settings, override? #201
|
Hello, I am struggling with the forced No Change settings in the different HVAC modes, like heat/cool/dry, left/center, slow/medium/fast, etc. If the aircon setting(s) were changed previous to that scheduled time, say by someone using the remote control box or mobile app and not through HA, the scheduler will only set/send the changed temp parameter/setting. It will not "correctly" send all other modes to what is intended by the (previous) scheduled time point. Ie. If I switch the aircon off during the day, then at 15:30 the scheduler sends only the requested temp to it. So nothing happens and I return to a cold room. :( How can I make the scheduler send the complete set of settings at each time point? Thank you. |

Pick HVAC mode, fan and swing on the 15:30 node itself. No Change means that setting is left off the node - it doesn't inherit the previous node's value, it just isn't sent. At 15:30 it sends every setting the node has ( If they revert after you drag the point, that's a bug - a drag rebuilds the node from just its time and temperature (this line). Drag first and pick the modes last, or set the temperature with the slider in the node's settings. If left/center is the "Swing (Horizontal)" dropdown though, 1.15.1 saves it but never sends it. |

set_hvac_mode,set_temperature,set_fan_mode,set_swing_mode), even if it matches the previous node, so the aircon comes back on.
