ObjectExplorer v0.8.2
- New File ... and New Folder ... head a folder's context menu: type the name in the tree, the way VSCode asks, and a new file's extension decides what kind it is.
.mdand.excalidrawfor now, the kinds ObjectExplorer can edit, with more to follow. The new file opens for editing, a name already taken is refused, and Undo removes a new file. New Folder works in local folders - A markdown file in a local folder opens in a block editor: edit a paragraph, heading, list or table where it is, type
/for a new block, and the file keeps its exact text wherever you did not touch it - A drawing can live inside a markdown file:
/excalidrawadds one, edited in place and saved in the same file - Drawings are saved shorter, leaving out every field that is at its default, and still open in Excalidraw
- The demo folder is sorted into one folder per kind of file, each with a README that says what is inside and what to try
- New in the demo folder:
ObjectExplorer/architecture.md, how ObjectExplorer works with its diagrams drawn inside; the stations as a DuckDB and a SQLite database; the same CAD part as SolidWorks and CATIA files, and an AutoCAD drawing - The demo's 3D model and photo are replaced with ones made for it, so everything in the folder can be passed on freely
