Public source release for a self-hosted, private Proton Mail Bridge connection to ChatGPT and dot.

  • English step-by-step Bridge, OpenAI Secure MCP Tunnel, private connector, and per-device verification instructions.
  • Copyable Agent Prompt, privacy/data-flow documentation, security guidance, and MIT/third-party notices.
  • Generic setup plugin ZIP with no mailbox, App binding, tunnel ID, personal email address, or credential.
  • Secure full-length Keychain input with exact readback, current tunnel-client compatibility, and bounded launchd shutdown checks.

The public setup plugin is not yet listed in the ChatGPT directory. OpenAI Platform currently requires a verified developer identity before accepting the upload. Each user must create their own private mailbox connection; the release does not distribute access to a shared mailbox.

Validation: 60 local offline tests (59 passed, 1 platform skip); GitHub Actions passed on macOS and Ubuntu with Python 3.11 and 3.13. The ZIP passed public-bundle identity/credential checks. These tests do not certify another user's live account or phone.
