v0.6.0
Argus 0.6.0
A reliability release: data-correctness fixes from a full code review, two alert detectors that now work, and current model pricing. Upgrading is safe: all migrations are non-destructive and run once on start.
Data you can trust
- Forked sessions no longer double-count. Copied parent turns were counted twice; ingest now keeps one copy (#29). A one-time pass also cleans up fork copies whose transcripts are already gone (#47).
- Incremental ingest equals a one-pass read. Reading a transcript in chunks no longer gives different numbers from reading it at once (#27).
- Atomic writes. Each file's ingest and each write batch land completely or not at all (#30).
- A prompt-only sub-agent can't roll back its parent's data (#48).
- Days follow your timezone. Day buckets use the viewer's timezone, and vs-previous deltas are computed server-side (#34).
Alerts
cost_spikeandcache_hit_dropdetectors are implemented (#26), next totool_error_rate_spike.
Pricing
- Current Claude models are priced, and
argus pricing refreshwrites into your data dir (#28).
Stability and safety
- SQLite is never closed under a live writer thread on shutdown (#31).
- The daemon verifies
argusd's identity before trusting or stopping a PID (#32). - Template snapshots keep secrets and out-of-tree links out (#33).
- Test: wait for runtime start, not the PID file, in the daemon service test (#46).
