"Kubernetes 101" Tutorial has out-of-date package info

What Happened?

When trying to follow through Module 2 of the "Kubernetes 101" tutorial, the kubernetes-bootcamp app doesn't seem to have a v1-tagged image anymore.

Furthermore, when I try to clone with v3 instead (which I believe is the only tag on the registry?), that also errrors out on the deployment.

I am using this to learn Kubernetes so please forgive me if this is simple user error.

hi @johnmckee02 thank you for pointing this out, these tutorials were originally on Kubernetes Website and been migrated to minikube website,

unfortunately seems like those images been out of date and deleted due to CVEs, I think we should find replacement images for those,

I believe you might be able to use a different image that we use in minikube QuickStart Guide
do you mind trying "kicbase/echo-server:1.0" image instead ?

@johnmckee02 I figured out there is a v3 Image of it, can you plz try with gcr.io/k8s-minikube/kubernetes-bootcamp:v3

it seems like to make the tutorial make sense we need to find two Other Dummy Examples one for v1 and v2
becasue part of the tutotiral is bumping the version

v1: Pulling from k8s-minikube/kubernetes-bootcamp

Status: Downloaded newer image for gcr.io/k8s-minikube/kubernetes-bootcamp:v1

now it should work, can you plz verify ?
