  • Align the public frontend and Studio with CMS 1.2.1 and reject mismatched backend contracts at startup.
  • Verify platform identity and restrict demonstration access; preserve canonical Ability approval boundaries.
  • Server-render scoped Studio data, reuse public reads, and improve local lifecycle reliability.
  • Update the build toolchain and include the reviewed Braces depth guard with mandatory regression and audit checks.

The complete npm run check passed on Node 26.12.1 against CMS 1.2.1: dependency regressions, lint, isolated backend, build, rendered frontend/Studio, authentication and unit boundaries, and zero audited vulnerabilities. The embedded theme manifest remains independently versioned at 1.0.2; the standalone Field Notes release is a separate distribution.
