• Session recall, context_session_start auto-loads project + decisions memory and a compact category index at session start, so the agent never starts blind
• Structured entries, new what_worked / what_failed fields (decisions/errors only) for typed outcome tracking
• Superseded-by pointers, recall follows superseded_by to the latest entry (depth-guarded), old entries stay for audit
• Session metrics, auto-logged recall stats to _session_log.md (captures "did recall fire before first edit" at every first save)
• devmcp-context init CLI, scaffolds ai-context/ + auto-configures opencode / Cursor / Claude, with multi-project support
• created_at preserved on updates (TTL/age no longer unfairly reset)

Fixes

• Pin mcp<2.0.0 (mcp 2.x renamed FastMCP - MCPServer, was breaking installs)
• Session-recall return was always False (flag read after reset)

Migration

Existing ai-context/ folders work as-is, just run devmcp-context init in new projects.
